notes:

Harry Hibbott won his third and final cap for Wales as an outside-half

Robert Roberts won the first of his two caps as full back

Also played one non-cap international against Canada in 1891

Jim Trainer was unable to secure his release for the game against Scotland at the Racecourse in 1889 but the selectors were not informed of this until shortly before kick off. Sam Gillam was hurriedly sent for and Rhostyllen custodian, Allen Pugh, stood in for the opening 30 minutes until the Wrexham keeper arrived!

David Davies won his third and final cap against England in 1908 when Leigh Roose was injured. Davies had been watching from the stands and England sportingly allowed Davies to take to the field in the second half

Also played in both Victory Internationals against England in 1919

Vic Rouse became the first player from the Fourth Division to be capped by Wales
